Provider Spotlight: Covalent (GoldRush)
Covalent's integration with Uniblock has been expanded. What was previously limited to a handful of token and NFT endpoints now covers the full GoldRush API surface: Foundational, Streaming, and chain-specific APIs across 100+ networks, including Hyperliquid's HyperCore and HyperEVM.

What's new
Foundational API (full coverage)
The Covalent integration previously supported 6 endpoints. It now spans the complete GoldRush Foundational API:
Cross-chain: Multichain balances, multichain transactions, address activity across all chains
Balances: Token balances, historical balances, native balances, ERC20 transfers, portfolio value over time, token holder snapshots
Transactions: Single transaction lookups, summaries, paginated history, time-bucketed queries, block-level transaction retrieval
NFT: NFT balances, collection ownership verification, token-level ownership checks
Security: Token approval tracking
Bitcoin: HD and non-HD address balances, historical balances, transaction history
Prices: Historical token prices, pool spot prices, gas prices
Utility: Log events by contract or topic hash, block data, block heights, chain statuses, address resolution
Streaming API (real-time data over WebSocket)
Covalent now brings real-time data subscriptions through Uniblock:
OHLCV streams for both tokens and pairs
DEX pair tracking: new pairs, pair updates, token updates
Wallet activity streams: real-time wallet transaction monitoring
Query endpoints: token search, top trader wallet lookups, unrealized PnL by token or wallet
Sub-second latency. GraphQL over WebSocket. No polling.
Hyperliquid: HyperCore + HyperEVM
This is where the expansion matters most for teams building on Hyperliquid.
HyperCore. Covalent's GoldRush APIs decode raw HyperCore transactions into structured, typed events that go beyond standard EVM event decoding:
Event Type | What it covers |
|---|---|
Fill Transaction | Perps trade fills with liquidation context, side, PnL, builder fees |
Funding Event | Funding rate payments between long/short positions |
Ledger Event | 20+ subtypes: vault deposits/withdrawals, liquidations, spot transfers, staking, borrow/lend, reward claims |
Delegation Event | Staking delegation and undelegation |
Deposit Event | Cross-chain deposits from external chains |
Withdrawal Event | Finalized cross-chain withdrawals |
Streaming API support is live on HyperCore (OHLCV pairs, OHLCV tokens, wallet activity). Foundational API access to historical HyperCore data (balances, transaction histories, decoded events) is coming soon.
HyperEVM. Full Foundational API support is live:
Wallet API (token balances, native balances, portfolio history, ERC20 transfers)
Pricing API (historical token prices)
Security API (token approvals)
Activity Feed API (transaction lookups, summaries, paginated/time-bucketed history, block-level queries)
Block Explorer API (block data, chain statuses, gas prices, log events)
Streaming API (DEX pairs, OHLCV, wallet activity, token/pair updates)
Components and tooling
The integration also includes access to Covalent's developer tooling through Uniblock:
GoldRush SDKs and CLIs
GoldRush MCP server for AI agent workflows
GoldRush Agent Skills, pre-built capabilities for autonomous agents
Performance
Covalent operates dedicated nodes in Tokyo optimized for Hyperliquid workloads. Early benchmarks indicate:
Data from genesis. Full historical coverage, no gaps.
No rate limits on Hyperliquid data.
How this fits the routing layer
Covalent is one of 55+ providers in Uniblock's routing layer. The expanded integration means more endpoints are eligible for auto-routing. If Covalent is the fastest or most reliable path for a given call, traffic routes there automatically. If it isn't, traffic goes elsewhere.
Adding HyperCore and HyperEVM coverage through Covalent also expands Uniblock's Hyperliquid surface. Teams building on Hyperliquid now have structured, decoded data available through the same API key they use for everything else.
No new integration. No separate billing. The infrastructure is already running.
Getting started
Covalent's expanded endpoints are accessible through any existing Uniblock project. Updated endpoint documentation is available at goldrush.dev/docs.
The integrations page at uniblock.dev/integrations/covalent reflects the updated coverage.
